I traveled a lot in my life but the biggest trip I’ve taken is my inner journey

I am Valérie, certified life and mindset coach and NLP and Hypnosis practitioner.

I cannot really put into words how transformative the coaching experience can be, to invest in a coaching series is such an empowering journey.

You end up feeling free, free to think, act and be the person you want to be. Free from your limits and your fears.

I am not enough / I am not worthy / I don’t deserve [insert here whatever you want in life]

Sounds familiar?

I know, we all experience these kinds of thoughts and feelings through life.

When it comes to me, my life was looking pretty good from the outside.
I used to work in the nightlife industry, earning good money, meeting VIPs everyday, having a lot of people in my life. I used to have a shiny lifestyle, lots of international travel, boat days, dinners and parties.

Yet, I was feeling that something was missing. This lifestyle that, I would later understand, I used for years to cope with my limiting stories of not being enough and not deserving of what I really wanted in my life, was not fulfilling for me anymore. I progressively understood that I was numbing my feelings of not enoughness and unworthiness through partying, toxic friendships, abusive relationships, expensive items.

I am not enough, I am not worthy, I will disappoint people if they get to know the real me, …Those were some of the stories I was repeating in my head, and the subconscious programming I was running on.

Where were they coming from? From my very early childhood.

[From zero to seven, children’s brain are in a lower vibrational stage known as Theta. Theta is the state of brain vibration required for hypnosis. Because of this, young children observe and download the interactions around them and then assign a meaning.]

It’s not what we experience in life, it’s the meaning we give to it. We create limiting beliefs from the meaning we give to experiences that happen to us. Then our mind looks all the time for evidence of those beliefs being right. We will think, feel and act according to these beliefs. Our thoughts and beliefs create our feelings, our feelings create our actions and our actions create our reality. This is the reason why, for example, people that don’t feel lovable often end up in toxic relationships, and those who feel they don’t deserve their dreams often play small in their career, etc.

Back to my life: the unfulfillment, the dissatisfaction, the feeling that something was missing, grew progressively. I knew something had to change. I tried to change my external circumstances and habits ( circle, boyfriend, even industry …) but nothing was really working for long. I got back full on into personal development that has been my passion since I was a teenager. I read all the books, went to many seminaries and workshops. I hired a coach to help me have clarity and I eventually understood that real transformation comes from inside. I finally took a leap of faith, and left a job I liked, that was feeling safe, but was not fulfilling me anymore and answered my calling to be a life and mindset coach.

It was not easy as it came with a 360º change of lifestyle, losing friends and all that was my life at that time. It was sometimes scary and lonely but I was also feeling so much more happy and fulfilled. Fast forward to today: I now have a life that totally lights me up, a lot of dreams to achieve and the right mindset to do it.

I am passionate about the journey I have been on, and now it’s important to me to be able to share my learnings with those who are also ready and excited about taking the leap, about making positive changes in their life.

I really do believe that our life is as good as our mindset is. You can change your life shifting your beliefs and thoughts. I am living proof of it!
